BAD WEATHER

   When unsafe weather conditions require the closing of the school, the Principal will notify Radio Stations and Television Stations (WDLM, TV 4, 6, 8.) School closings will also be put on the office answering machines, 764-1302.

ATTENTION PARENTS!

The late fall is fun and chilly!  But it can be cold if kids come to school dressed improperly for our midwestern weather.  It is IMPERATIVE that you send your child to school with a warm coat, hat, and warm gloves.  Remember that we go outside for recess, so that the kids can run around, play with their friends, and get some exercise.  That time is healthy for them, but only if they are dressed in clothes that keep them warm and dry.

Please see that they leave your house with the proper clothing, and we’ll see that they put it on for recess.  Thanks so much for working together with us for the health and safety of your child.

If your child has been sick, or has some other health issue that makes it impossible for him/her to go outside for recess, please contact the teacher via a written note.
